Lisa has worked in the area of women’s health for nine years.
Since completing her Bachelor of Physiotherapy at the University of Queensland she has undergone extensive postgraduate training in the areas of pelvic floor rehabilitation (including pessary insertion) for urinary incontinence and pelvic organ prolapse, pregnancy & postnatal exercise, and management of pregnancy-related pelvic pain and pelvic floor pain.
She has also worked in the public health system in the area of women’s health, specifically pelvic floor dysfunction and attends numerous courses every year to stay at the forefront of her field for her patients. At present, she is involved in a project team to review the statewide evidence-based guidelines for Vaginal Birth After Caesarean Section (VBAC).
